Use my Bell 2R for bike parks, or buy another FF helmet?

Hoping to ride some bike parks this season around Washington DC. I did Snowshoe last summer and there are two others now even closer. I have a Bell 2R with the removable chin strap. Can I safely use that or do you get better protection from something like a Bell Transfer 9? I seem some on sale so would that be a good idea, or not really providing much more protection? I'm spending dough on body armor and maybe even a neck brace, so can i save dough by just using my 2R?

The chin bar on the super doesn't really do anything. I'd get a real helmet. Running a neck brace with the super is just stupid (a neck brace needs to interface with the helmet, with the super there's nothing to work with).
In the order of stuff to buy, a helmet is mandatory, body armor is optional (especially at Bryce and 'Nutt).

my martial arts instructor used to say: "you like your face? Then guard your face."

bell transfer 9 is great, that's what I have. Feels very solid and fits great. I use it with a neck brace and have no issues. At less than $100 its a great deal too

It's almost like a lightly snapped in piece of "protection" is designed to fail like that...
