    Upgrading my bike

I have a 2001 gaint ac1 xtc, link to the bike on mtbr, http://www.mtbr.com/cat/bikes/bike-f...645_95crx.aspx

I want to upgrade the suspension on it, get some newer shocks.

i have a budget of around 700$ to spend on the shocks, i want to get a new front fork aswell as a new rear suspension, what do you guys suggest? im sure it matters about the riders weight too so keep in mind i am about 205 pounds.

    thanks in advance guys.

its a marzoochi bomber z1 drop off, 2001 model

at least i think thats what the fork is.

the rear shock is a rock shox, 6inch of travel i believe

i was thinking perhaps ebay to purchase the parts?

2007 Z1 for $300, then find out the eye to eye on your rear shock and upgrade that to whatever you want.
