allright so heres the thing, i just ordered a 05 Kona Stinky. i know its not the best bike specialy with the DOT on it. so i wasnt to up grade some parts on it but i only have about 200 to spend on upgrades for it and i have no clue what would be the best thing to up grade. i was thinking bout getin a new rear hub os somtin to convert it from a QR to a thrue axel. any sugestions?

um, upgrade whatever you hink would be weak, id upgrade wheelset, but with 200 thats not the best option, unless you want to buy azonic outlaws(which are the best wheels ive ever ridden imo) and they come with all quick release , AND 20 mm axle, and rear solid avxle, than you can sell your old wheelset, and buy a few smaller things, tires, grips, bars, steam.. . etc..... good luck with . o yeah, id sell the fork and get a super T as well

Who are you buying the bike from can you do upgrades when ordering it?
It is ussually cheaper that way and you don't have to bother with selling spare parts
I would work on changing out the fork asap, and that will be the most costly upgrade
and unfortunatly DOT's dont sell well

    Priority
    Fork
Tires (depending on whats on there)
    Brakes (if they suck)
    Chainguide

Everything else you can just upgrade when it breaks or wears out.

    Like stated above:

    Fork: Get a Super T
    Wheels: Azonic Outlaws or similar
    and...
Crankset: You have Hussefelts right? Go Holzfeller whenever you can.

why send that money when all he needs to make a super t is putting a super t damper in the DOT (ok so it would springs in the other leg too)... lots of people have been modding them, do a search; that's what I'm going to do because i can get, pretty much, a super t for $100 less than an 05 junior t.
