Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Upgrade On Fork!!!!!!

I haven't been happy with the performance of The manitou splice (130mm) on my Giant AC (stock). I want more travel and a more plush fork. 1 question, will increasing the travel of the fork 40 mm kind of screw up the geometry of my bike? I am on a SMALL budget Im only 15 years old so I can't be droppin a thousand on a fork. My limits around $350. I also want Dual crown. I found one that might work. I would love your opinions, answers, and SUGESTIONS!!

Thank yall for your help and offers. I decided that the red on junior t 03' would not mach the green on my bike. I found the pimpest fork for the best price... check it out...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=005

is there a special way to install a dual crown? How does the wheel connect to the fork? it looks different than the way on my splice. Will I need to buy anything to make it fit on my bike?

You wont be making a mistake getting the Junior T, but you can have a WAY better fork (the super T) for that extra $50... Trust me on this one, and anyone else that wants to back me up.....
And since your splice probably has 9mm (I am not 100% sure, since I do not pay attention to those forks), you will have to get a new hub to accomadate the 20mm fork dropouts.

I fyou do decide on that fork, you WILL need a 20mm hub. And yes, the splice is a 9mm QR.
