    up grade forks

I own 03' ac1 and would like to throw on something w/7"(like boxxer or 888) of travel. Is my bikes geometry capable of handling this increased front suspension?

not with the 888 , as this will rake out your head angle to much.... but super t's , 66rc, Manitou sherman slider / kingpin ought to be good set-ups.......

I agree. 66RC should be your first choice.

Stick with a 6 inch 66rc. The 7 inch model will give you a headangle very similar to a 888, which would be extremly slack.

66RC hands down, yeah, the 170 version does have lots of slack.
