    Turner Highline

Hi guys. I am thinking of getting a Turner Highline. Are there any owners out there? I wanna know if it comes with 135mm rear spacing or 150mm. Thanks

The Highlines are 150mm rear, 83 bottom bracket.

    Get one. You'll be stoked.

Yeah, no regrets if you get one. Get them while they're still available. One of the fastest bikes I've owned.

Go-Ride is having a huge sale on all Turner frames if you haven't seen that yet.

The Highline is a super fun bike. Very capable and well built, I love mine.

Just built one as well. May be the best bike I have ridden yet.

    12 x 150mm rear.

There are rumors around saying the Highline will be discontinued? Anyone verify this? Looks like one of the sickest FR bikes around.

Its not a rumor. DT had said it in a post somewhere on the turner forum.

It's true, Raptor - grab one now for CHEAP before they're gone! Keep your DHR for racing, and hit the Star hard with the HL; at least that'll be my plan.

Yeah, the demise of the HL is set in stone unfortunately. Ideally it would have been nice if the HL could have gone with the 135mm spacing and adjusting the 8" geo so that it had the same angles as the 7" mode. I think it would have resulted in a bigger gap between the RFX (more travel) and still had the railing ability of the current set up.

I'm in love too much with my DHR to cheat on its sister.

Naw, it's like marrying in to the family and getting the goods too. My bro has the DHR, HL and 5 Spot. All serve a specific purpose, so there isn't too much overlap. DHR rocks, but the geo sucks for extended pedaling. HL rocks for any buff riding that you need to pedal to get to. I would love to use it at Pacifica and N*

Is there any news on what it's being replaced with?

It's replacement is a 7.5" travel DW link, E2 headset frame that will only come painted in the stealth paint that the stealth fighters are painted in.

But if the sister has special "abilities"? And you'd naturally never take them out together. Hide one in the garage while you play with the other.

    Thinking? Psst!

Shouldn't even be a question. I dumped a nearly brand new bike in order to get my Highline. Best switch I've ever made, AND I have another couple months of riding season to tear some schit up!

Plus, I now get arguably the best costomer support of any make out there! Turner board is the official tech department.
