    Trying to get fork in... WTF is wrong with the lower headset cup?

    hey I just bought a bike and am trying to put it together, both headset cups are pressed in the frame but there is like an extra big cup pressed into the bottom of the fork, it is below the spacer and wont fit, i dont know whats going on so heres a pic

    That looks like the lower headset cup.....

    Is it pressed onto the steerer and won't come off or something?

    make sure its tight on the steerer - you need to hammer it in position using a hammer and a screw driver. Don't take off the edges of the ring or damage your fork.
