    Truvativ boxguide wont fit

I bought a truvativ boxguide and it wont fit on my ISCG tabs, im aware of the older and newer style but i assumed they made "newer" style tabs to replace the "older" type, but i guess they are just going to stick with making more of the old type.

My X7 has the 05 mount and the guide is the "old" style.

I was considering just chopping it and making it work, maybe using some aluminum stock and then bolting the parts on, like the top guide and the roller.

Is there an adapter for this?

You should get a guide that doesn't blow.

Anything better than a locked derailluer in front is fine. It's blowness will be tested after i get it to mount.

I couldnt make full holes but i made half round holes that surround the mount so it's not going to go anywhere

It rubs a little on the outside but some more shims will fix it

I suggest you add two more chainring bolts.
