    Travis got me buggin'

    Dudes,

What's up with the Manitou Travis? I'm selling one on ebay and it ain't getting no love. I got it with a Blur lt and didn't want it. Thought it would turn a few more heads over there. I thought is was a good fork, but too heavy for my needs.

How much you start the bid at?

It's a fine fork... I'll buy Marzocchi again if they ever offer me a decent explanation for why none of my three broken Marzocchi forks were warrantied.

According to Manitou's marketing materials it's not junk. Or were you being smirky.

I'm done with Marzi, Got a FOX!

i love mine, and when i've seen them on ebay they've been selling well. I think its a fairly hot fork right now, just give it time, how many people are watching it? how much time left?

I started @ 99 with no reserve or BIN. It's up to 120something with 4 bids and 30 something watchers, 1.5 days to go. ebay is weird. I've got more watchers for my old noleen fork!!!!!!

30 watchers is really good, dont worry about it, I would have put up a reserve though, can you link me to the auction?

don't worry, people usually go apesh*t at the last second and bid like crazy.

I've seen stuff end up going for higher than the buy it now price.

Yeah it's the one giantbikeboy posted. I didn't want to be a spammer, that's why I didn't give it. There are only a few up right now.

30 watchers is nothing. Check out my other auctions (for argument sake): There are 37 watchers on that Noleen! I wasn't even going to bother listing it. I wonder how much I'll get for the frame it came off?!?! and check THIS out: 107 watchers @ ending. Mostly just curious though.

Thanks for the advice, feellers. Appreciate it.

Ebay is not so hot right now for forks. I got one bid each on my Super T and 888 rc2x auctions. The Super T went for $200 and the 888 for $725. Had less than 15 watchers each, none of which apparently wanting to buy the forks...

That's unfortunate. On the positive, though, used thudbusters are hot. As are used timbuk2 bags.

Anyone know why my doll isn't getting the hype it deserves?

I know Cannondale were supposed to spec a Travis on one of their new Judge bike but skipped it as it didn't pass their tests: the dropouts (or whatever they're called) broke too easily...
