    Tires.. input please!

    Hey I am looking to get some new tires. I am thinking about getting the Maxxis Minion DHF's. Has anyone ridden these? what did you think about them?

    Our bike team is spons's by maxxis so im going with maxxis, dont try to change my mind!

    buy maxxis then......minions are nice for front and highrollers rear
    the trick is ENJOYING YOUR LIFE EACH DAY, don't waste them away wishing for better days

    I found the dhf and dhr ust to be an outstandingly balanced combo. the High roller seemed to have a more square profile than the dhf and when I ran the two together it didn't quite match up on hard cornering and drifting but tire "feel" is pretty damn subjective and definitely condition specific

    Minion front and HighRoller rear is a great setup. You might want to run a softer compound up front for cornering traction and a stiffer on back just so the tire lasts longer.

    geesus,with all those sponsors you should already have a idea on performance etc,but seen az you dont, im runnin da minion 2.5 dh front and dh rear combo ust,no worries works for me and where i ride,but being in your circumstance i dunno guess you should really look into tryin out da maxxis ,lol

    i like how he's sponsored by yeti, but has a specialized avatar. schweet.

    anywhoo. if you're set on maxxis (i would personally run specialized pin'it s-works) then go for the minions. i would go dhf and dhr, but a lot of people run dhf for both f/r.
