    Tire Pressure

I'm new to downhill and just got the iron horse sohon bucho with Timberwolf 2.5/2.7 tires.

I weigh 180 lbs. What tire pressure should I use as a starting point?

    30psi

    howzat?!

More = too bouncy, less = pinchies! I run mine at 30-40 for trail (usually closer to 30)

18-30 for DH - depending on conditions - 25ish on average.

    yes.

Even XC riders I know dont go much above 45 these days unless they're mooks!

DH riders over 35 must be riding pure hardpack - but I doubt you'll hear much of that regardless.
