Tire for the North East Mixed Terrain?

Tire for the North East Mixed Terrain?

Running Nevy's 2.5 wire Stick -E now.....They seem to wash out in the front. Anyone else have this issue. Thinking about switching to some 2.5 Mich comp 16's run in the fron and rear? anyone riding these in the NE for mixed terrain (some mud spots, hard pack, rocks/roots?)

it may not be the tires. you could be too far back on the bike causing your front tire not to dig in enough, making you wash.

im not sure then, but when i used to wash out a lot, its cuz i wasnt over the front of the bike so my tire had no pressure, and it was controlling itself.

I am running Minions super tacky front and rear and I'm pretty happy with them. I see a lot of dudes using this same set up at Highland.
Also proper technique helps as some mentioned.

Make sure you are using proper cornering technique. Otherwise, I will say the the DH16 front and rear are the best tire setup for New England I have used. It's like being on rails. They brake incredibly too.

    Try some DH16's.
