    Terms?

Sorry, probably a stupid question but what does BB mean and how do you adjust a bike's head angle? What's more slack and what's less slack?

    Bottom bracket.

    Depends on frame/fork.

What's more slack and what's less slack?
ex. 64 is more slack than 65.

So on the enduro I've got 2 mounting holes for my AFR shock and I have it in the front one right now which is more verticle than when I got it, as it was mounted in the rear hole. Is my current setup better or worse for big hits?

take a picture to be clear

    but here goes
the hole closest to the seat( or front of the bike) will push the rear tire down giving you a little more travel, but raising the bottom bracket and slackening the fork to make it turn not as good. This takes the hits better but....

overall you won't get that much more travel. Personally I would like a lower bottom bracket, with not as slack fork..overall you will turn better and have a lower center of gravity.....the bike will feel slightly better for handling and the penalty for travel (big hits as you say) is marginal at best....just my .02
