    Swinger on X2

    Hey, Im posting this for my friend he nees some help before he orders it:
    "The normal shock size on the x2 is 8x2.25 Fox Vanilla R could a 8.5x2.5 Swinger 6-Way be used without messing up too much?"

    I think the length is actually 7.875, not 8.0. I havent seen any shock that is 8.0. And I just measured mine on my x1 yesterday.
    If you're not living on the edge you're taking up to much space.

    When it says 2.25 on the spring is that the stroke or the width of the spring or something else?

    that the 2.25 spring is capable of working on a shock with up to 2.25" of stroke. The X1, 2, and 3s we've had at the shop are 6" bikes with a 7.875 X 2.0 shock. Are the later Haro Extremes longer than 6" travel bikes? If so, then maybe they have a longer shock, but I haven't seen one yet.
