    Not to be hatin, but it was/is a FR bike with the 36 up on there. The 40 is a DH fork. With a single crown, the bike is more agile and easier to do tricks on. Your turning radius will be shortened now because of the Double Crown.
    Other than that, its still a very flashy bike. the 40 is a beast.

    I totally accepted that when I swapped them. The way I ride is definitely going to benefit from the switch. Thanks for your input!

    Not to join in on the hate parade, but a Tall and Short Wheelbase Bike is going to prove you lots of trouble on the DH courses. I'd WAY rather stick with a 36.

    But, if you like it, cool beans.

    we'll see how it works but regardless, it takes 10 minutes to swap out a fork.

    Heck, if it's too tall you could just lower it and have the benefit of the DC stiffness without the insanely high bottom bracket.

    can't beat the look of a double crown. The day RS, Fox or Zoke start doing an 8 inch single crown, that's the day the poles are gonna melt.
