We the people ... Summer Gravity Camp - Whistler

Think I've got the wife to ok Summer Gravity Camp this year.

Anyone in the Bay Area (SF) thinking about it?

With flight prices at $500 + expense of bringing bike up and back, thinking of driving. But alone ain't no good.

    Interested?

I called and got some info myself the other day, I am considering the adult camp from July 25-August1. I will be bringing my Uzzi and don't want to fly so I will be driving too but I will be coming up from Texas so SF Bay area might be a little out of the way haha!

Which class are you thinking about signing up for?

I've got to be in the Aug 1 - 8 session. No option.

Cable guy - You drive right past me, or close enough that I can meet you on the 5.

Tejas - get me in Seattle, if you're into the 2nd session?
I'd be able to easily fly into Seattle. Southwest doesn't charge fee for bikes.

Wife said ok. Bonus check comes March 15. Hope they don't sell out that session before then.

What about lodging? Want to share that too?

    Let's touch base later on.

SMT, you want to possibly hit Black Rock and few other spots afterwards?

Geez... wish plane flights to vancouver where $500 from where i live, granted the distance from australia to van is much father than San Fran

You guys are lucky you have the choice of driving, plane flights from Aus cost about $2200 per way (well, there are cheaper options, but no way in hell am i flying china air...)

I am open to either session, if you are going to the second one then I can sign up for that no problem! And yes I'de be more than happy to pick you up in Seattle as I will have plenty of room!

PM me if you wanna discuss this in more detail, I plan on signing up in the next two weeks. I talked to them yesterday and they still have around 40 openings in both adult sessions, so we should be good!

Flew China Air from SF to Beijing and back a couple of years ago. Not too shabby actaully. Now granted I was upstairs in a 747.

For the camp, I was just figuring to stay with the group. It's pretty reasonable for the week.

I've got a crapload of Hilton points, so if we wanted to stay in Portland or Seattle on the way, I could sport the room.

Would you be interested in stopping by Black Rock and few other spots on the way back? Applying what you learned?
