    South La riding....

My buddy and I cut it up in the swamps about 30 miles south of New Orleans. We dont have the mountains or hills like some of you cats ride, but we have some cool areas to cut up in. Gotta watch for the gators lurking around each corner. you cant rest to long sitting on a log, you might be lunch.......

It's so cool stuff from the swamps I grew up in Monroe, lived in Houma for a while too. Not exactly a mountain bike mecca but plenty of places to explore

I grew up in Houma, Gibson actually. Not a whole lota ridding there. Can't road ride without getting ran over, or hit with a beer bottle. BMX track closed about a decade ago. Oakshire had a short trail on some levees in the swamp. Probually 1.5 miles total. Plenty of poisonous snakes, mosquitos, and gators though.
