Can you tell me (secretly) where that is in the South Bay? I've been looking for a place. It doesn't happen to be near PAlto does it?

Sweet...let me know when we can meet to ride and build....how sick would it be to make the last hit a sick wall ride?

Do you think the'll hold up through summer with all the sand???
Also...did you scope the area for hose spickets??
I'll buy a few hoses to get some water back there.

    S. Bay LA

I think those are in the South Bay here in LA, I'm guessing because the tag at the bottom says a bike was stolen in Redondo Beach. You might want to try a place called The Shells up there.

I will hit you up the next time I plan on going.
There used to be a wallride but it kinda sucked, so it was removed to use the dirt for the dubs.
What sucks is there used to be a water spigot with a hose leading to the spot, but it's been removed. The dirt sucks too, it's SUPER sandy, but I've been taking my camelback with 2 full bladders, and soaking the dubs right before I leave. It's a good winter/springtime spot, cuz halfway thru the summer it all turns to soft sand. We'll see this year though, because someone other than me has been hauling water there, packing them down, giving them love. What's cool is theres space to build about 30 more dubs.!
But I'll for shure PM you when I plan to go.

You know there are places in PA right? I live in PA and southbay probably aint us. It not even a secret here. There are jumps on top of Arastradero Preserve for MTB not 20s and you can go big here. There some jumps off of Arastradero road, over towards gun highschool. Not the best description. And there is a road gap, and a drop, up at lake Laganita in Stanford. For the Laganita stuff you really need to have a spotter to be safe so don't go alone. The gap is for 20s but I hit it all the time its right on the road circling the lake. The drop is harder to find. There are some hidden jumps around stanford, not easy to find but I will say nothing further here. Arastradero is the best local spot for DJ. its like one pile of dirt in a quarry looking spot with differnent approaches and kickers on all sides. There is one kiker that some guys go really big off of but I havent got the saftey equipment I would want before I go that big. If you would go all the way to the south bay for jumps like that, you really ought to head north to Carlmont or wait for Calabazas to open back up
