Your crews talent never ceases to amaze WCH.

I will ask the question as well, how did the tire thing happen, and how was the rest of the bike?

as he was G-ing thru the tranny, it just blew off the rim......
the tire apparently is just too big for the rim. it actually popped off quite a few times this weekend, most of the time was on landings, it easily goes on and of without levers. he had just put it on the other day... he had another high roller on there before without any problems... and will be switching again today....

Maxxis tire was fcking me all weekend. It wouldn't stay on the rim. In the picture it happened at the worse time possible. Right as I went up the lip the thing popped and the tube wedged up in the frame. I had to ditch my bike in the ravine, bending the handle bars and tweaking the forks... I donít mine the handle bars so much but the fork issue pisses me off. I had managed to keep the thing flawless until yesterday.

What do you think, should make a warranty claim?

The box does say it is for Freeride/DH, it looks like it went on a real free ride......

Hey .WestCoastHucker. you look really familiar I think I might have ridden with you once at rocky peak over summer. I had an I-drive. And I think the one guy that has a Turner now, at the time had a black Foes Fly?

    [INSPIRATIONAL BACKGROUND MUSIC]

.WCH. and company, you guys get it! after seeing your photos, no matter how bad BJ thinks they are , I went out to the local jumps during my lunch break and finally got the nerve up to hit the mansize line.

it's a cool big-line for a 'beginner' like me. here's why: the first jump is a blind (notsocool) stepdown with a flat gap between the lip and tranny. if you make it clean to the tranny you've got plenty of speed to make all the subsequent gaps with minimal pumping. if you dont make the tranny, you dont even bother trying to hit the following jumps and the penalty is pretty minimal, although my saddle is history.

i am pretty stoked guys thanks for those pictures. there is nothing like the feeling of having enough airtime to look down and line up just where you want the bike land. it's a pretty damned cool view to boot.

chuffer -off to find a good deal on a burly azz saddle.

From the pics, that looks like a 888 fork that you messed up. More and more I am losing faith in the 888. The weight savings just ain't worth it!

It really wasn't anything that bad. Just the axel doesn't quite line up as nicely as it used to, it takes a little more work to get the wheel on and off. No big deal, I'll live with it.
