    Some rainy footage from Fontana

Check out some winter riding from SoCal during the 3rd race of the Southridge Winter Series.
Jon Buckell gives some insight into being called a sandbagger, Marc Beaumont shows up and wins by 3 one hundredths of a second in the DH, EC keeps the 4x streak alive and Dale from Division26 helps out with some hot chocolate.
Filming for this one was a challenge because I was carrying gear and juggling an umbrella at the same time.

Let me know what you think of the footage.

Real nice vid! Looks like the DH course was pretty good this time, and the XC course looks nice when it's not a sandpit. I had never seen vid of the XC course before.

The footage is really clear, Nice job! Lots of snow up at mt. Wilson!
Editorial note: Erase any footage of "glow in the day" skinny white guys packed in the spandex a little too tight! I think my brain just threw up in my skull!

    Damn good filming!

jajaj for the bigger races the DH and XC will be seperated, but I'm hoping XC'ers get some exposure to DH and DH'ers get some exposure to XC with these first few vids.

Exposure to tights will be very very limited.

noice! good job with it. the shopping cart in the XC portion was particularly poignant. so fontana...

didn't notice much of the lower classes for DH though. or were we mostly too noob to look good on film? (not that I mind at all though)

    awesome!

xc guys should do some DH training. some of them look dialed, but allot of them look all rigid and like they are ready to crash at any moment on the down.

i've always loved the look of that downhill course, looks way fun.

we need more 4x racing around here.

FACK. I want to do a Fontucky race... but not in the wet.

My max riding speed is reduced to half when it's wet.

    I hate the rain.
    Meh.

Sweet video! Both the xc and dh courses looked fun. Really well done video too, some sweet shots there, not just basic point a camera stuff.

Also, what was that first song that was playing during the XC portion? I liked it quite a bit.

the songs in the video are snow globe by the bradys (xc) and June by Shrugged (DH/4x)

Thanks for pointing that out V.P. I forgot to post it in the videos section.

And for Cactuscorn, and anyone who missed the other videos
