Some Deer Valley NORBA DH Photographs - MTBR DH/FR Friends...

Here are a few of the photographs I took at the Deer Valley NORBA.
I was only there during the Expert races.

This first one is someone you might know as Shabadu, from here..

This is James, from Go Ride, as he "scorpioned" at his first NORBA as he put it.
I was able to get off four frames of this, but the other two were dark because my flash didn't recycle quick enough. They show him nearly crashing into me. I don't know who rolled down the hill further, him or me...

Another Go-Ride.com racer, I think he was a Junior-X racer, he seemed pretty fast.

This is what I think was my best photograph of the day. I don't know who he is..

    Sweet pics as always, Brian!

    nice shots.
care to share any technical aspects of your pics?
what type of camera/lens are you using and what settings?
did you use a remote flash?
    any post production adjustments?

    Good job!

    I bet it did James!
It was quite a rush for me. I'd say it was my closest call in my DH, FR shooting experience.
My left wrist hurts from the fall, so I must have fallen on it somehow.
    Not a bad time!
If you want to use any of these for your site, please do. Just give me credit.

For one, I still shot "the old fashion way", you know film...
I shoot with a Nikon F-100 and did this with my Sigma 14mm lens and strobe(SB-80).
THe strobe was on the camera. I shot this in Shutter priority.
I have a scanner to scan the film and do just the basic adjusments, color, contrast, brightness, burn and or dodge.
