    Skatepark Today.....

well i yet again got WAAAYY shown up by the bmx'ers, then were doing backflips, 360's, and tailwhips over everything.

but i did learn how to drop in, oh and Evil4bc, i know this topic has gotten you mad, so, i ordered a sherman jumper, and manitou opens up next week because this week they are taking inventory.

so here's some pics for the bmx haters.

JB-Nice shots. Does anyone care if you're taking shots in the park? Still have to pay the fee if you're just shooting? Want to get down there.

JBsox, your not thinking of 'crossing-over' now, are you???

Stay true to MTB. Dont be discouraged by the BMXers skills. Did you let any of the BMXers ride your bike..? You should. They could probably bust sick on 26"s too. That goes to show that bikeskills are bikeskills, whether bmx or mtb. We all just need to ride more... and soon we'll all be doing backflips over concrete..!!

Keep it up with those pics. They came out awesome. You've got a good photographer eye.
i want to post more but i can't stop riding!

    JB...nice pics.

Sux I had to leave when you were showing up.
I had about an hour in between meetings so I only got to ride for like 40 minutes.

It's so much easier to flow through the park when you can drop in.

    You still up for Thursday???

I knew that park was going in but I had no idea it was open to bikes! I'm gonna have to check it out one of these days. Is it usually pretty crowded? Is it open all day?

    7 Days a week...3 sessions per day.
    11:00-1:45 & 2:00-4:45 & 5:00-8:30

Bikes only get 3 sessions per week.

    Tuesday / Morning...Thursday / Evening...Sunday / Morning

Kinda sucks that the skateboards get the other 25 sessions.

ya, and what really sucks is that we pay the same amount for a quarterly pass...........

please, whoever hears about this park go and make it really crowded so hopfully they'll give us more sessions.

Looks good. Theres only one park near me I know of and a second ago I thought the sessions sucked..However, hit up some online skatepark site and found a link to the main site and the sessions arent too bad now. BMX gets a 6-10pm session on Mon and Thurs-Sun.

And if you can throw down on 20" wheels then you can do the same on 26" and vice versa. BMX bikes are easier to toss around of course since they are smaller, but I'm over 6 foot tall now and cant stand being on that small of a bike. And the front fork makes overshooting a jump or drop easier on the wrists

Like JSUN said, but give those BMX'ers you see ripping it up a 26" bike and some time and they'd throw down just as hard as before.
I'm not new to this, I'm true to this
