    should i bother?

i have a 2003 iron hore sgs and it came without a rebound adjuster ( the seller was a doush and lied about many things) so i have no rebound ( its kinda fast) should i send it in to progressive to get a new rebound? iv been riding around fine without it but with drops, i dont want it to buck me up
    thanks

Agreed. Just send it in and get it rebuilt. Should cost roughly $50-100ish I would imagine, not sure on exact figures or all the parts that would be involved but it'd be cheaper than a new shock that's for sure...

    is making a comeback.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

You realize that older 5ths use allen keys to adjust compression and rebound, right? If it just doesn't work, send it back to Progressive and get a rebuild.

And the shock functions fine without anything in there? Pony up and send it to get rebuilt.
