Shiver vs. 888 for banshee scream?

I am torn between the two forks,
I am not a big hucker I mainly ride tech trails, northstar etc.
    not too many big drops
The shiver seems like the better choice right now but I'd like to hear some ideas, I ran a white bros dh2 for a while and now I am running a super t on it, neither perform the way I would like, they both feel underweight for the frame.
    thanks for any help,
also any idea of where I can get a good deal on either,

    my A$$

dude no comparison, 888's r like butta', dont get me wrong but the 888 is lighter w/ lot less flex, with an inverted fork like the shiva u could stand at the front of the bike, grasp the wheel in ur knees and twist the bars back and forth with a good amount of bad play. i.e when ur ruttin it out or in some tigh stuff u can turn ur bars and go no where, w/ an 888 ur gonna be able to turn out of that stuff. And for the sake of argument maybe ur shivers are smother than a 888 STOCK, but by playing around with ur springs, oil viscosity/amount, and valving u can get ur 888's runnin like works suspension.
Spankin StabPrimo-- New in 04' but got the cool charkol 03 frame, got the monsters on there, azonic outlaw wheel set, mrp, hayes, tioga, soon rc--> dhx 5.0

the mad zachdank runs a shiver

and his boy tim runs a 888

and they both ride a banshee scream and the both of these forks are perfect matches for the frame......
