    shin gaurds

    does any one have a pair of 661 4x4 knee/shin gaurds. what do you think of them? my gramma all ready orded me a pair, so the damage is all ready done but i can get a refund if they suck.

    they are a nice pad. if your going to be ridding DH i would have got the 661 Race knee/shin gaurd, that is what im running.

    protection wise they are great, but theyre hot and smell awful after a few rides. they are a bit uncomfortable at first but they they wear in and theyre great. good luck

    i just bought EV a pair for xmas...

    i used to own a set aswell...there a really nice set of guards...pretty hot...but cover your entire leg and do it really well...and dont rip or tear or anything...there quite tough...

    but no hard impact plastic though...
