    Sherman Slider Plus vs. Dorado

Manitou tells me that they are the same internals, just different fork structure. So I guess that that means that the Dorado is an inverted Sherman for 700 dollars more. Does anyone know if this is the case, or whatever it may be. Also, how does the Sherman Plus work in rocky courses. Thanks for the input.

What are you planning on using the fork for?? The dorado is the DH race fork to go with as far as sherman va. dorado. But the slider will give you a bit more for the freeride section...

the Dorado seems kinda pointless at that price; its also a pound heavier, probably more fragile and only has 10mm more travel.

would look at the 888 before a dorado.

The Dorado seems to be wider than the Slider so that's a plus i think. Dorado's definitely a race fork. If you were set on that there's some nice ones going on ridemonkey for 5-600.

    is making a comeback.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

But are they the same internals? Like the 7 inch dorado vs. the 7 inch sherman. Also, I ride Northstar
