    Semi OT- Slick 24" tires?

This is a litt off topic, but i figured y'all might know the most about 24" tires. My GF is riding a BMX cruiser, and the knobbly tires on it are slow on the street. Any reccs for semi-lightweight slick 24" tires which can stand up to broken glass/ monster pothole/ bunny-hopping?

(i think i've created a monster- i taught her how to ride this bike a little over a year ago- now she's hopping curbs, cursing traxis and lusting over a little black fixed gear someone at her work rides)

    thanks,

    fatbat

totally worms...less she's in a lot of wet mud, or grass... especially grass, trecherous with the worms ...(slightly pulled rotator cuff here because of wet grass and worms)

it's exclusively a street bike. I have looked at hookworms- a local shop has the 26", and can get the 24" ones, but they're really, really heavy, around a kg a tire for the 26". I was hoping to find her something on the same basic pattern, but lighter. Spinning up those heavy tires on a single speed is kind of a chore.
