Self Pics W/ Tri Pod Don't Work So Good

OKAY these were done with a TRI POD. A serious pain! Next time I won't even bother with pics. Having 10 seconds to run back up isn't enough.

Does look pretty good. You need a remote instead, those are fun. They can get a little dangerous on the tech stuff tho

You can activate the timer from a remote, or even the shutter immediately. They don't work on some cameras though.

A couple of others the real blue one was super over-exposed! Like flash, 400ISO and about 120 shutter speed! So I messed with it.

    Mine

    Ian:

I just got a remote for my Nikon D50 and this was what I took the first time using it.

    http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=246296

Like you I was kind of disappointed but I guess I have to keep trying and work on the timing. I taped the remote to the base of my right brake lever but it was still tricky to hit. I wanted to try a drop but I thought I'd wait! Plus I don't have a tripod so I had to use rocks and tree stumps that were placed in good spots.
