    Scott Octane Pivot Question

Have a 2003 Scott High Octane FR. Need to take the rear triangle off to repaint, but can't figure out how to get the durned thing off. Anyone have experience with the pivot assembly on one of these beasts? Thanks.

you may need to tap it a bit or maybe even remove the cartridge bearings. Put some pictures up.

    what I've tried

Tapping, turning (in case its threaded). The bearings are in the frame, and there's a tube like an axel that extends out on either side and the swingarm just has pinchbolts that clamp onto those ends - the net effect is that the bearings don't seem to be accessible until AFTER removing the swingarm. I'll see if I can get a decent close-up pic.
