    Saturday morning urban pics

Well, we didn't get to go to CPX for fear of rain and bad weather. But, we did have a good session here in Mankato. I ride the heavy a$$ Az0nic Eliminator. dBuck (another mtbr member) is on the Big Hit with a chrome visor on his helmet. Most of the drops around here are to flat or near flat.

    Enjoy the pictures

    Beau

P.S. I just learned how to do no handers today!! But after about 30 trys to get a good pic, it didn't work. There is one though that kind of shows it right before I grabbed on. I did have them totally stretched though.

The run in is really short and it is tough to get a lot of speed. While shooting these I landed on the last four stairs. I have been working on hitting it to flat, but so far, the closest I have got was clipping my rear tire on the last stair. It is a rough landing do to the flat landing. I'm hoping to get a better camera soon and better angles. I need to work on pulling up a little more to make it look bigger. So far I have only been a few feet above the stairs.

    Westby

Hey Beau, i was just wondering if you and adam planned anything for when we go to westby. Plus, i'm not sure if i'm going to have my bike built up in time to go. If you and adam go riding sometime, let me know. I get out of school June 4th

All I know is we are going fo sure!!! What is this I hear of you buying a Giant? DON'T. Did I also hear that you think the zonic is too heavy for urban? I guarantee that you will want a heavy bike once you lose it. AC's are crappy. I would be really scared to ride one with a triple clamp, and you can kiss your warrantee good-by. Keep the zonic, build some lighter weight wheels and put some lighter tires on it.

    is making a comeback.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

    Awesome Beau,
Those pics turned out alot better than I thought they would!!! And yes Beau was hitting the no hander drops spot on for a good 30 minutes while I tried to get the timing right on his camera. I thought I had it on tape but something happened to my video camera and I didn't capture it...user error probably ...

Anyway yes Dustman we are going to Westby I will call you with details sometime this week. When is do you want to build your bike??? When are the parts coming??? Will you have it all in time???

Hey Beau what are you up to memeorial day weekend, like that sunday and monday??? I have to run in a half marathon on Sunday and then I am free for the afternoon, up for some urban in Kato???

That last one with the dude standing at the lip is sick. The landing looks pretty rough onto flat.

    Westby

Hey, I will definately not be able to go to westby with you guys just because of the guy that was selling me his frame. He said that he would save it for me over the weekend and i was going to send the money out on monday, he then sent me an e-mail yesterday saying that he sold it. The only way that I could go would be to put my bike back together.
