    Santos Huck

The deed is done. I went to Florida, rode Santos, and a couple guys threw down and stuck the big drop. Here's the proof.

I've got a few more, including a couple trail photos, on Passion: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=171614

And I'll be writing an article for Mountain Biking, as soon as I get my tradeshow coverage done.

    Santos (has) rocks!

I forgot - thanks to Vader for stepping up and hitting it. At first, I wasn't sure if there was anyone there who was up to it. But he did it and then did it a few more times so I could shoot some different angles. The Kenny hauled his Demo 9 up to the top of the quarry and tossed himself over the edge three or four times. I ended up with a lot of good stuff. Thanks guys!

I came from I-Drive and I think it took me a little over an hour and a half. I took I-4 to the turnpike and took that to 441. I think 441 might have been a mistake because it's got tons of traffic lights. But it got me there and the trails are right off of 441, just south of Ocala. So it's simple. I'm sure there's a better way to get there. But since I live in California, I'm probably not the best person to ask. You should definitely check it out, though. It's all fun. The singletrack is sweet and there's even a set of decent tabletops for crappy jumpers like me.

    The Kid

That kid, Donny (I think), is a ripper. He had no interest in the bid drop, though.

What's Your Technique For This Drop?

Just interested in hearing from those who've done this one........

Do you try to land on both wheels?

Do you keep both wheels horizontal, land on rear first?

    Thanks

Both wheels. Try to adjust your angle too the lander. The roll in is quick and you can over jump it your not careful.
