    rockshox vivid 5.1

im jus wondering if any of u use a vivid 5.1 and how well it works.... right now i have a dhx 5 and its alright but its getting worn out (dnt really wanna send it away) and i can get a really really good deal on a pretty much brand new vivid 5.1 i jus wanna no if i should hold out for something better or not... i dont need alot of adjustment and i no this has more then the dhx 5 how do u guys feel about the vivid?

Put a Vivid R2C on my Nomad last month and I like it a lot more than my old DHX5.0. The small bumps are really smooth now. Only problem is that I can't find a Ti coil for it. Buy it!!

I ran a Vivid R2C on my Demo for a while and loved it. It was much better than I could ever get the DHX RC4 to feel. Much easier to setup at least.

I wouldn't hesitate to run it again, I actually have it still as my backup shock.

What size ti coil do you need? I believe I've got a 500x 2.75 in my drawer.

its the same 12.7mm DU bushings. if you can push out the fox ones it'll work.

40 days out from surgery and i can do pullups, pushups, have full range of motion with no discomfort, and can sleep on that side with no problems.. i did a 20 mile road ride the other day and had no issues.

i'm waiting to get to 60 days before i get back on the bike. looking forward to it!
