    Rockshox Boxxer

So I'm looking at upgrading to a 2007 Boxxer Race and was wondering if you could fit the HFX9 system on it with a 7 inch rotor. Would I have to get an 8 inch?

You need a specific Boxxer adapter for that fork. I don't believe that there is a 7" adapter made for the Boxxer.

With an 07 can't you just bolt the rotor right to the mounts on hte fork to run an 8" kind of like how the totem is?

The rotor does not bolt to the fork.

And the lowers are still Boxxer mount.

    congradulations.

    XSL_Will is right.
the boxxers are still rockin' the boxxer specific mount.

I'm pretty sure there is a 7" boxxer adapter out there.. but why not just go 8".. if you're riding a boxxer, i would think you would want the extra power. especially with hayes.

Eh, a quick search on BTI didn't show any 7 inch adapters, only 8 inch.
