New question here. ride height + geometry - single crown vs older dual

can anyone explain the difference in ride height between an 06 Marz 66rc2x to an older Marz dual crown fork - say an 03 or 04 Super T?

I've read in this forum where the 05 66 RC and 888RC were very tall (many opted for aftermarket flat crowns). In 06, this has been changed to lower the ride height, however, I like my bikes "somewhat slack" geometry with the Super T.

Will the 06 66rc2x feel the same as my Super (from a geometry standpoint...NOT PERFORMANCE)?

I don't want the front end to feel like a XC bike because it is too low....

    It all boils down to axle to crown height. A Super T has roughly a 550mm a-c height. The 05' 66 RC 150mm had a 575mm a-c height, 170mm RC 200mm a-c. 06' dropped these spec's by 30mm (I believe) - do the math.

    I understand...except for the 05 170mm version...you state 200mm. Do you mean 600MM?

    thanks.

    Ya I spaced, crossed signals w/ an 888's travel. The 05' 170mm 66RC has a tall 600mm a-c height.

    thanks for the clarification.
seems that I will actually gain some height if i opt for the 66.
