Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Research assistance

Hey, I'm currently doing a paper on how advertisers use mountain bikes to sell their products as "extreme" and "cool", and how these same advertisers are targeting the "quadrupal X-treme" athletes. What I would like from you all is your thoughts on this and what advertisers you think are contributing to this stereotype. (I've got this same question posted at the local shop) Thanks!
