Quick question for Minion 2.7 owners?

Could someone tell me what size is written on the side of a Minion 2.7?

Last night I bought a Minion DHF 2.5 and after pumping it on I realized how tiny it looks. I compared it to my Nevagal 2.5 and Nevagal 2.35 and sure enough, it is smaller then both!!!

So I checked on the side, the Minnion 2.5 is a 54-559, well that explains it! The Nevagal 2.5 is 62-559 and the 2.35 is 58-559.

I hope the 2.7 is at least 58-559 or even better if it was equivalent to the Nevagal 2.5 at 62-559... The rubber and thread of the Minion 2.5 seems very nice but it's too bad they made is so small.

Most Maxxis tires, the Advatage seems to be different, run @ 1-1.5 sizes smaller generally.

If your looking for big tires, try the Kenda 2.7 offerings or the Michelin DH32 (supposed 2.8 although it too runs about 2.7-2.6). Keep in mind that tires will stretch a bit over time. By the time my Kenda 2.7's are done they're a bit larger in profile than when I first mounted them up.

Maxxis tires definitely run narrower than most.
2.5 High Rollers look like XC tires.
    Minions are great tires though.

In my experience Maxxis run small and Kenda run big for their given size.

The 2.7 Minion looks pretty close to the same width as a 2.5 Nevegal.

If you have it Matt, would you mind checking on the side the numbers that are written there, should be something like xx-559. I haven't found it in any store yet so I'll need to order it and I'd really like to know the size before ordering. Thanks much.

Hey hey tanks SilverSpot. This means the 2.7 is a tiny bit bigger then a 2.35 Nevagal but a bit smaller then a Nevagal 2.5.
