Problem with mounting hardware/DU bushing on the new Vivid

Just mounted up my new Vivid last week with no problems and I noticed on the last right, when I pick my seat up there is play somewhere in the rearward mounting hardware, you can feel it and you can see it. What should I do? I have the correct mounting hardware and the shock is brand new, so is the hardware I don't understand. I'm sure this is a common problem I am just wondering what I should do to fix it, some one told me to wrap coke can aluminum around the mounting hardware?

is the play between the hardware and the DU bushing? if so, maybe time for a new bushing.

yes between the hardware and DU. Although I imagine it shouldn't be the DU, the shock is brand new with 4 rides on it. Would less than perfect dimension mounting hardware cause premature DU wear? No body had 8x23 mounting hardware so I order 8x24 and shaved it down with my lathe, its definitely less than perfect so maybe that is what caused it?
