Problem with 661 kyle str8 knee guards

I just got a pair of 661 kyle str8 knee guards and they don't like to stay on my knees - they slide down and dangle on my shins and its incredibly distracting. I have noticed once my legs sweat, they sorta stick and stay on...I've resorted to pouring water on my knees before putting em on so they don't move. anyone encounter the same problem? is there a better solution I haven't thought of?

BTW, sliding aside, they are excellent pads. soo comfortable and light + they protect well. already had a mean fall and they saved my knees from destruction.

It's mostly neoprene, it does that. Ever try climbing into a saturated wetsuit? I've encountered similar problems but they only slide a couple inches, not all the way off my knee. I just wrap it a tiny bit too tight when I first put them on and after a couple minutes of riding they're snug right where they need to be at the right tension.

Did you happen to try on different sizes? Mine fit perfectly (M), though I'm not sure how much smaller a (S) was. I think that if they slip pretty noticably then you got a size to large. I know that's an obvious observation, but really what else could it be? (unless you just have to work your legs out to make em bigger )

I just got a pair. Great pads, fit nice and snug, are a little hot on an 85' day. no problems with any slippage.

Sounds like the wrong size for you maybe?

Mine stay on perfectly, I forget they are there sometimes
Actually breathable on the downs too, you can feel the air going thru them
