Picture from the March issue of Decline.....

Check out this picture of Heikki Hall launching over some rocks near the waterfalls at Whiteface in the March issue of Decline Magazine. They even got a picture of our tube box. Haha.
Thanks again to Decline Magazine & Damian Breach for his amazing photos!

Correct. This spot is only 5 feet above the trail that crosses the river by the waterfalls. The picnic table is just out of sight to the riders right. This will give you an idea of the natural features we have to work with once we can build our own trails. The solid granite and loam we have to work with will be a treat for all. This is some of the potential that keeps me so stoked! Whiteface is great now but just wait a few years!

Can't wait to get out there again this summer. When are you due back?

I expect to be back the 1st week of May to begin trail work and our new pump track.I want to plan my return home so I can hit up Plattekill for their opening day. The desert is awesome but I am realizing how lucky we are in the northeast to have so many choices on where to ride. Bootleg Canyon is just awesome but once you get used to a lift, shuttles just aren't the same. Getting on a lift at your own convenience and riding down at any pace you want is worth the lift fees for me.

I saw this picture and was in awe.

We've got great soil out here in Northern California, but not a whole lot of rocky stuff like that.
    Meh.

The pictures in Decline are awesome and Damain Breach the photographer took some great pictures. Besides the riding he really captures all the colors (maybe I noticed that 'cause I am in the desert now?) and the view one gets from the summit.
This issue of Decline says to be released on February 5th. but I got it yesterday the 2nd at a Barnes and Nobles.
    Thanks again Decline and Damian.

We have a new bus for this year. No rainbows!
We kept the old bus so if there is a need for us to have a 2nd shuttle vehicle we will be all set.
2 buses and a gondola. Sweet!

    Mike,

Kudos on the glowing write up from Decline. Sounds like you guys have been slowly (and smartly) designing a heckuva bike park out there and have some real quality trails.

    Keep up the good work!!!

    Cheers,
    EB

It is a great place to kick back and spend a week or long weekend. You can even bring the whole family and have a good time. Lake Placid is a great place to sight see, shop ect ect.

There are also some great swimming spots right down the road from whiteface.
