    PIC: Banshee Scream Porn...

i hope when daves Scream is built up it looks half as pimping as this beast...

and no this is not daves...his 888r comes in this week and his scream will be built by the weekend...so pics of the build and action shots are on there way...

this and his will have very similar set ups though same frame and year...26" instead of the 24" trail pimps...and 888s instead of a super monster...

dave also got some saint cranks...
    an e.13 SRS...
and some other new trip gear for his new girl also...

    should be a great bike...

the head angle of this is pretty ranked...allthough i must admit ive seen worse...

Hey, is that a crack forming back at the swingarm area?...LOL! Actually that looks like the bike that the guy at the I-Bike Demo Days was putting together behind their tent. I was walking by and saw one of their folks sawing the steerer off of a Monster T. A few feet away was a Scream without a fork hanging in a work stand. That makes for a heck of a ride with a lot of critical mass. Way too heavy for me, but a neat, wicked looking setup.

Wow. I used a photoshop-like program to play with that image. First rotated it clockwise (3.5 degrees) so that the wheels were level. Then used the angle measuring tool on the fork.

    58 degrees.

That's obviously not necessarily exact, but it's probably within one degree. What would that be like?

And could you imagine if he put a 26-incher up front?

Edit: And BTW, can you run a 26" rear on a Scream?

So let me get this straight...

Your friend is getting a very similar setup, except for the fact that fork is different, the wheels are different, the cranks are different, the chainguide is different... right? So, in otherwords, by "similar" you mean that its a pretty much a completely different setup, but frame is still a Banshee Scream of the same year?

Why would you spend several thousand dollars on a bike that was made to be abused, then not want to ride it? Kind of defeats the purpose... If you are worried about keeping a bike pretty, maybe a dropping a few grand on a nice road bike would be a better idea.

    would u ride that...

i wouldnt...it would be retarded with a head angle that ranked...its a beautiful bike...but it would be really hard to ride...it would also be crazy heavy as well...

be a sweet chopper tho...like i said ride to the shops and back on it...nothing more...id feel more comfortable dropping my ruckus off a 20' ft than that...

I bet if I put a Monster T on my p.2 and a 24" rear wheel, my head angle wouldent be as ranked as that.
    its sweet tho.
