All their cranks come with them now. The older Husselfelts? didn't but now even those do. You got a pair of their cranks? I got a brand new pair of Holzefellers that I am trying to sell if you know anyone.

Ya I got a pair. I just had my 04 Hussefelt (sp) warrenty replaced b/c the steel insert came off with the pedals when I was trying to replace the pedals. The new cranks didn't come with washers and I can't get the steel inserts off my old pedals to get the old washers. I was trying to get my bike going for Saturday AM before the bike shop opens but I guess I'll wait until 10am for it to open and get some washers. Better safe than sorry.

    Use the Washers

I strongly Recommend using the washers. I didn't use them once because I wasn't paying attention... and when I went to remove the pedal the insert came out with the pedal. Getting the insert off is a real B_tch... I got it back in and lock tighted. All is good now.

    Use the Washer!!!!!!

    There Cranks are Great.

TruVativ cranks are Great. It's right in there directions to use the washers. I haven't had any issues with mine... Other than self inflicted.

I used red lock tight to get the insert back in. Let it dri over night and was able to get the pedal out.

I use the washers now and haven't had that problems since. I have a 2 of there cranks currently and have had a third. I'm geting a Spec SXTrail next and it's got another one. Good Price, Strong and all have worked great for me.
