PARKFIELD PICS (and hecklers were all over)

OK so its a "college race" so alot of college kids show up and along with em come the rowdy obnoxious types. Ya know like big fat football guy only different. Anyway I heard this guy almost the entire DS event and got this one of him HECKLING BILLY O. Whats your guys take and the "advice giving comedians"??
EDIT THE TRUE LOUD HECKLER IS IN HIS OWN FEATURED PIC BELOW! BEAVERS WAS ONLY HECKLING THOSE HE KNEW, NOW "CPT. STUBBING" ON THE OTHERHAND WAS YELLING AT ALL OF EM.

actually some kind of cheering is better than no cheering.......Dale Earnheart Senior told Jeff Gordon.....if you don't hear anything then be worried.......People will cheer loud for you and boo you and that means you are good

That's the beaver-pelt in the background.....and he has a beer in his hand....means he's DEFINETELY going to be yelling at the locals. He's the kind of guy that makes biking fun.

OK I have never met Beavers but have seen him in gear, although I live in SLO still and did when he did never actually me him! That is classic, there as another guy who was super loud near him can't find a pic though I remember he had on all white. I will look Beavers was only yelling @ those he knew.
Good I hope the Canon works good for you BTW.

I like the empty Bud cans on the top of the berm.
I would screw the race and ghost ride the bike right at his drunk-tard ass.

Yeah, I think Leland is on one of KIRKALDES race bikes form this year he doesn't have much $$$. I would bet he paid less than frame retail for the whole thing.

If Billy O, or any or the SLO kids found a silver Bell X-Ray XC lid that he borrowed from the gold Tacoma while pinning the friday night DH runs, thats mine, I would be stoked to get it back, pass it of to Cippie or Wookie or any of the Chico kids.

    Cheers
    Chad.

A good time for sure, sometimes I felt young(drinking in the morning) sometimes I felt old(Sunday morning after drinking the day before). Pixie bikes were wild. Hope the guy in the longjohns is ok, he looked kind of gray when the paramedics got there. Definitely a way to recharge your bike racing batteries!

Drunken heckling is what makes racing fun.

If you can't take a little heckling, why are you riding your bike in front of other people?

p.s. Ian, the shots look grrrrreat!

Jr. X won by Ben Furbee, Blake Carney got the third, don't remember 2nd. Who was the guy who got 2nd in Dual Slalom pro/semi/jr x? I thought he would win it all, but he had a disaster gate and then fell trying to catch up. That dude was quick...

You hit the nail on the head. The atmosphere there is always fun and laid back. People are there partly for the race and mostly just to hang with friends and have a good time.
