    Palmer on Intense

In case you guys missed this http://www.pinkbike.com/news/Shaun-p...cles-2009.html

Nice to see Napalm back. Nice bike too. Been seeing him practicing at North* and hanging out with his hottie gf. Even passed them on the trail one day. Probably be the only time I can say that!

I have been getting his wheels built and helping get his bikes ready for this weekend. He changed 3 totally different bikes in the last 3 weeks and ended up on Intense back where it all started for him back about 1995.
He pulled a second last weekend racing DH in So Cal, the way he was talking before leaving for Colorado, he was pumped ready to race going into the Sol Vista event. He is saying he will also be in the next World Cup coming up in Mont Saint Anne I believe. Hopefully all goes well for him.

No kidding. Hat's off to the guy. IMO that is still a very competitive position to have ended up in.

He came in 2nd to J.D. Swanguen at Fontana losing by only one second, combined time, two run format.
Eric Carter (another old guy!) on his 1st run beat Palmer by only .20 of a second! This is E.C.s home track, he always wins here! E.C. crashed and flatted his 2nd run and ended up 10 over all.
I would have loved to see what the times would have been if E.C. didn't crash!

I'm rooting for the old guys!
    GO, E.C. , PALMER, ARMSTRONG!!!
