    Paging WCH

    Hey, I remember you were saying that in order to run front hydro line thru the headlock, you made a u shaped cut in the top cap. Question: how far in did you have to dremel? It looks like mine has to be drilled all the way to the bolt, but I'm afraid to do that and wanted to get your opinion before I do that.

    first, feed the hose thru the steerer. then make a small groove in the edge (mine was only about 1/4", just slightly bigger than the hose) then fit the topcap into place. don't try to put the topcap on first and then feed the fitted end of the hose thru. your final groove should be no where near half the distance across the cap....

    Thanks! I just got Shimano SS line which is a bit thiker than normal Hayes like I guess. Will try it tomorrow.
