That right there sure makes me want to move to Cali....as if year-round riding wasn't enough reason.
People wait for me on the way up. I wait for them on the way down.

I just got PS CS3 on my Mac today

    Type
    Add Bend
Layer Style>Blending Options>Fill Gradient>Reflection, 0 degree black and gray reversed
Change layer to Overlay then change trasparency and fill
Finally add Noise... 12.5% Gaussian monochrome

Yeah, the Magic card were done with paint because my CS2 ran a very slow, the 20 inch dream bike was done by hand and then vectorized and coloured in Adobe Illustrator..

All this PS talk made me break out the CS2 and make an avatar. For WCH I came up with basically the same thing as Tacubaya, and couldn't find a matching font, so I went nuts on my own. A little Gaussain overlay with a flashlight effect.

"Smart Filters are Photoshop filters that are applied non-destructively, and that remain live and re-editable. To apply a Smart Filter, select one or more layers and choose Filter->Convert for Smart Filters. The selected layer(s) will be converted to a Smart Object, to which you can apply filters non-destructively. Smart Filters appear as parameters under the layer to which they have been applied. Edit the Smart Filter mask to adjust the filterís effects on different areas of the image. Note that any filter is treated as a Smart Filter when you apply it to a Smart Object."

    Seems like a convenient feature...
