Yeah, I think you can put on a second chainring, doesent the 03 have one?
I had a tall dual crown on my p.2, and i will tell you this:
Its the best. Looks sexy and it so easy to work with .
    Does that answer your questions?

Not knowing the setup you have on there right now, you'll probably need this:

    -Front derailleur

-Granny gear chainring- assuming you have a 32 or something right now and you want the granny to do some climbing? If your P2 is still off-the-rack stock, most likely you have a 36 or 38 on there, so you can run a 22/36, but 22/38 might cause you some derailleur issues, so you might need to buy 2 new rings. Or go with a 24 or 26 granny and you're ok.

-New chain- I like a new chain (depending on how beat your old chain is) when I get new rings, but that's just me.

-New chainguide- your single ring chainguide isn't gonna work with a dual ring setup. Your bashring (assuming you have one) will be fine, but yes you will need a new roller setup to accomodate the two rings. Don't know if MRP or e-thirteen sell just the roller to move to a LRP or DRS (respective dual ring setups offered by those guys)- most likely they don't...

Let me know how it turns out. I have a 3-ring setup on my freeride bike and I'm looking into moving down to a 2-ring, so I've been doing some research...
