    OT: My Snowboard Movie!

I don't know if anyone heard, but during the winter I made a Snowboard Movie featuring me and my friends riding and shredding in Tahoe. It's called "Break The Chain". I did a LOT of work with it and it was quite a heavy project. Now its not totally professional, but I still think its a pretty good movie, but judge for yourself.

    Details:
    Length: 20 min
Shot At: Sugar Bowl, Squaw Valley, Northstar At Tahoe, Boreal
Shot with: Sony HC-42, Wide Angle 0.6X Lens, Hoytech HC-Pro Helmet Cam
    Editied With: Sony Vegas

Note: The movie contains explicit lyrics.

    Download:
    http://rfs.thrillnetwork.net
Choose between Low or High quality (I reccomend High). Download times WILL vary, so please be patient!
Google Video Download will be available soon!

Thanks for checking it out! Commens and questions are always appreciated!

I've got a couple minutes downloading left. I'll let you know what I think.... Judging by the teaser it should be cool, though.

    Nice video.

Two words to improve it though: GO FASTER.

The riding was cool, a few of those crashes could have been easily prevented by going faster, and I think the woods stuff would have been cooler w/ more speed to it.

It seemed a little repetetive, but hey, it was 20 minutes and you didn't get to go to the Warren Miller esque locations. I liked it. Nice crash parts at the end there. Watch out for those skiers.

Go to Alpine next year and I'll show you the definition of 'freeride.' haha j/k

Nice riding, we should snowboard sometime next year.

    Sweet video, make more.

I watched the beginning but turned it off because it wouldn't play smoothly for some reason I was really choppy and I could only see it frame by frame lol

    Thanks for the feedback!

I will release a 512kb/ps Quicktime file proabobly tonight. It won't look as good, but the file will be about 50 or so MB.

    Thanks for checking it out!

This is honest criticism, so please don't take it wrong. I think 20 minutes is entirely too long when your feature/best trick is a sketchy grab free frontside 360 and about 25 methods. cut it down to about 6-7 minutes and you will be good to go.
On the other hand I envy you guys for being able to ride conditions like that! I have rode powder similar to that once when it snowed all night and I went to the mountain at open. 2 hours later it was all hard pack. They don't call whiteface "iceface" for nothing. East coast sucks!

I know what you mean, thanks for pointing that stuff out. It was really hard to get ANYTHING out of Squaw Valley. The park was all over the place and we got spread out and etc. We're not pro so the aireal tricks weren't too great. I personally thought the box grinding was good though.

    Thanks for the input.
