    NWD10 = awesome

Got my copy, watched it twice, starting 3rd time. 8" of colorado snow is making me sad, but this movie makes it all better.

Is it a bunch of gigantic jumps with guys pulling tricks that I will never be able to do, or is it fast trail riding with nice stylish whips? Which side does it go towards?

A good question to also be asking is how can 8 new inches of snow be making you sad?

We had a premier over here on like the 2nd. Seen that movie way to many times since then. I think gee's part is the only one i don't like, its the song though, kinda bugs you after a while.

The movie is pretty good. Kinda more jumping than in the previous ones.

The best scene, BY FAR, is Kirt Voreis ripping it up in Invermere, BC. We ride that lots in spring and I've never, EVER seen anyone tearing that stuff the way he does.

Damn good closure to the New World Disorder series.

    Damn good.

NWD 5 is still my all time favorite, but every scene in NWD10 just got gnarlier and gnarlier

The death race is just part of the unnecessary Hollywood dialogue/acting that is in all these movies.
One of the earlier NWDs had all those jailbreak scenes. Humorous and somewhat entertaining, but all the time they spent on those scripted scenes, they could have spent out on the trail shredding it. I'd rather watch a few more minutes of shred than some cheesy skit that should be reserved for SNL or Mad TV.

Can't ride... and i don't ski nor snowboard. can't afford two ludicrously expensive sports.
If you live in CO, I'd suggest you find a way, or you're going to have a nasty case of cabin fever during the winter. If I move out to the Denver area here in the next few years, I will make provisions for two hobbies.
This will be my winter hobby if I move out there. I can't justify buying one of these living in Middle TN, but I could living in Denver...

I got to see snippets of it at Grassroots, hoping someone has it in stock locally soon. $35 plus shipping online is pricey for a movie. It looks sick! Some of the soundtrack isnt great cough cough athertons?!?

Under "epic outtakes" in the DVD menu, there is a song that goes, "we came here to party if you came here to party put your hands in the air. " can't find this song anywhere and it's driving me insane. Anybody know what it is? It's about a minute or two into the outtakes

Seriously? Whores. I recently contacted them about a blu-ray, but I haven't received a reply. Why the f^@& would they hype the use of RED cameras and create this stunning visual masterpiece of freeride cinema only to release it at a fraction of the full resolution? I don't mean to sound melodramatic, but anymore I rarely watch anything that isn't in high def. Dvd's make me feel like I forgot to put my contacts in... unless I watch them on a tiny ass screen. I don't understand why they couldn't burn 50 blu-ray copies for those of us who care. I'll still buy the freaking dvd though... and maybe I can cop the soundtrack on cassette for my walkman when I'm out riding. Never mind, we're in a recession . I'll be patient. $36 for a dvd is steep considering NWD9 on blu was only $24. Sorry, it's been a long day .

Overall I really do like the film, but there are some things that could have been different... I think there could have been less DJ stuff with a little more serious big mountain riding and I was surprised at the lack of some of the riders that I thought would have been in there, one being Vanherham. And honestly I think it would have been cool to bring in some of the old school riders; Simmons, Schley, Tippie, etc. just for nostalgia even if they're not in their "prime", they're still DAMN good riders! Well, rant is finished.... Oh, and there was a SERIOUS lack of Black Rock, but I hear that the people who will be taking over for Freeride Ent. are stockpiling footage for their breakout videos so we get stoked to watch them.

Kurt shreds harder than I've ever seen anyone ride. I don't know if he's just that insanely fast, or if it's just his style that makes it look fast....all I do know is that it's ridiculously ****ing good.

I saw the movie premeir here in utah a few weeks ago and it seemed the majority of the people thought it was just ok. I have to agree. It did have some insane parts (bearclaw, mccaul) but there were alot of just ok parts as well. it also seems that most of the good stuff was at the beggining and then it tapered off. plus where was bourdon? i know he got hurt but i saw footage of him filming for it and he was in the intro too.

I think the reason im saying this is because how much it was hyped up. Maybe i had too high of expectations.

i still think nwd 8 and 9 were better.

on a side note, have any of you seen kranked 8? the last segment is easily the best in any movie..... ever!!

Did you keep watching through the special features? There's actually a segment called "Where's Bourdo" where they show him do a 360/roll. He broke his neck!

Overall it was good, even though NWD9 remains my favorite. The Kirt Vories scene was by far the best I've seen in any NWD. No music, just the sound or rocks, gears and brakes. And Kirt just plain rips on a Nomad like no one else in the world.

Honestly, I don't think they could have done it much better while sticking to the same format for 10 years. Yes, it's sad to see NWD die, but it's definitely time for something new.

    .
Might want to look closer. im pretty sure he is on a blur LT2.

He does rip and thats why i didn't enjoy his segment as much. seeing him kill it in nwd9 gave me chills. this one was unique and cool to watch but kirt is one of my favorite riders and i have seen segments of him that in my opinion were much better.

Kirt Voreis segment is absolutely fab. I loved it. The whole film is pretty awesome but that one scene made my hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

K.V. consistently has my favorite NWD scenes. This one did not disappoint. Bearclaws scene was sick too, and McCauls super man front flip was off the hook. Would have like to see more lacondaguy

Sorry, it's been a long day .

they have NWD 9 in HD on the Playstation Store.. perhaps they'll do this with NWD10.. i just picked up the version on iTunes for 8 bucks... iTunes also has CKD for 3 big ones.

yeah 6 and 9 are the best! 69!!!! 8 and 10 are just couldnt outdo 69. 11 should be a whole nother level of crazy. progression isnt in sync with annual moneymakers.

Get your copy, play it on your DVD at home and turn it VERY loud. I only have a Bose Cinemate system, but the sound of the speed and the trail and the rocks... wow. Turn it up LOUD. Louder than you'd watch anything else.

    It's unbelievable.

We ride Swansea lots, but that segment is just beyond...
