Nothing Special (Downhill and Freeride Video)

    Nothing Special
A few of the clips I liked from my movies over the past few years, and a few new clips.
    Mad Dog Moments 2007

Watch it here (where I think the quality is slightly better):
    http://broadbandsports.com/node/13227
or here at pinkbike, where I think the quality is slightly worse.
    http://www.pinkbike.com/video/5731/

This was going to be my submission to the Highland Video Contest (of course in higher DVD quality), but my DVD burner conveniently stopped working. I also want to thank Glender for offering to help out with the whole DVD situation; had I spent more time on the video, I would have taken up on the offer.

Comments and Suggestions wanted/appreciated. Seriously, let me know what you think, what you liked and what you didn't like about the movie. Help me improve my movies.

Video = I LIKE IT... I can't stand videos which include a bunch of fluff (stuff that has pretty much nothing to do with biking). I like how you skip the artsie-fartsie schizick and endless babble and you just show biking.

    Sound Track = eh... ok

awesome vid and riding. (I had the sound off, but I know I don't like Incubus)

Where was the riding? I thought I saw Portland, ME in there and it looked pretty Northeastern to me.
We all get it in the end.

    Good job! Schweeet!

Yeah, where is it? Definitely east coast, I thought some of the urban riding looked like Washington, DC.

Fun stuff. Liked the helmet cam stuff and crashes. I like that east coast vibe, we have more vert here on the west coast, but during riding season, it's so damn dry, it'd be nice where there's some summer foliage and not so much dust!

NIce vid. You guys have some sick terrain (and sick riders), gotta join you sometime...

I liked the vid. Nice compilation. I especially enjoyed the crash section; not so much because I like seeing guys crash, but that it just shows that even the best wreck and crash every now and then. None of us would ever get to that point of skill w/o ever crashing in our lives.
    Good job on the video.
Jump it onto something off of something or over something.

There's more to freeriding than dirt jumps.

Wow, sick vid. I loved the speed that guy had at 3:54 when he tried to rail that berm.

My suggestion: More trials. I loved the DH/freeride stuff, but I also love trials, and giving just a teaser is mean!

Other than that, what can I say? Excellent camerawork, pretty good editing (as far as my brain can tell), and excellent riding.
