Norco DH Team 2005 or Norco Atomic 2008??

So, today I am going to see two bikes.
    http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/605310/ and second one http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/649619/

It is my first DH bike if that helps with helping me to choose or giving some advices.

So far I did some downhill on Rocky Mountian RMX (2005). Loved it but can't find anything (price) that I would want to buy.

    Thank you!

    Agnes

ps. Looks like it is my first post! Didn't even know. I was reading mtbr forum so long but didn't write anything

id say go for the atomik, then speak to your local norco dealer and find out whether the frame was one of the recall numbers and get a brandnew frame for free

The Atomic is not near the bike the Team DH is. Sure it is newer, but the Team DH have a DHX5.0 coil vs the DHX4 rear on the Atomic. The Boxxer is a boxxer race the 888 is an RC and that years was great. The wheels on the Team DH are better, the drive train is higher end. Everything is spec'd better on the team DH. The upgrades on the Atomik are pretty good, but I don't think they match the DH. The Team DH is rolling on Hadley's!

    Check the specs.

    Team DH http://norco.com/2005bikes/bikes05_a...g=en&id=teamdh

    Atomik http://www.norco.com/2008bikes/templ...&view=&deets=2

But yes, the Atomic frame is newer and will get warrantied more than likely because it is the style that was replaced with a gussetted headtube junction.

    I would go Team DH.

    Thank you guys!

I picked up Atomik. I think, that bike is enough for me for a year or so. The guy sold it to me for lower price then he was advertising. Bike is in mint condition and was used for half of the last season. I think I got a pretty good deal

Can't wait to go to Whistler this weekend!
